Discovering the City Through Stories
Cities are made of streets, buildings, parks, and squares. But they are also made of the people who inhabit them, the stories that unfold within them, and the ways we learn to see and imagine them.
Cuentos de Ciudad brings together illustrations from children’s books in which the city becomes much more than a backdrop. In these images, the city is a place of encounters and discoveries, but also of contrasts, memories, movement, and transformation.
Through the eyes of different illustrators, the exhibition invites us to explore the city as a network of relationships: between people and places, between what we share and what makes us different, between the city we know and the city we can imagine.

Books take us to other cities.
And sometimes they teach us to see our own with new eyes.
