ENTRELIBROS 2026
Every October, ENTRELIBROS, the International Festival of Children’s Literature in Spanish, brings books, stories, authors, illustrators, publishers, and readers together in Miami around children’s literature in Spanish.
From October 14–18, 2026, the Coral Gables Museum once again becomes the Festival’s meeting place, with guest authors, illustrators, and a program that invites children, families, and professionals to experience books in many ways: listening to stories, talking about them, exploring them, and turning them into opportunities to create.

Each year, ENTRELIBROS brings to Miami a carefully curated selection of children’s literature in Spanish, featuring publishers from different countries selected for the quality and richness of their illustrated book catalogs.
The International Book Festival opens on Wednesday, October 14, and remains open throughout all five days of ENTRELIBROS, giving visitors the chance to discover, browse, and take home books that are not always easy to find in Miami.
Storytelling sessions, encounters with authors and illustrators, workshops, and creative activities turn stories into opportunities to listen, talk, experiment, and make.
Each experience invites children and families to take an active part and discover what can happen when a story moves beyond the page.

In 2026, the city becomes a central theme across ENTRELIBROS—a territory of stories, encounters, memory, and imagination that shapes this year’s Festival.
Through books, conversations, and creative experiences, we explore the city not simply as a setting but as a place we inhabit and build together—through its streets and buildings, and through the connections, memories, differences, and sense of belonging that give it meaning.
This theme runs throughout the Festival and ENTRELÍNEAS programs, taking on a particularly visual form in Cuentos de Ciudad, the illustration exhibition accompanying this year’s edition.

Books open up opportunities to learn, ask questions, and see the world from new perspectives. This educational dimension is an essential part of ENTRELIBROS and extends to both children and the adults who accompany them in their reading experiences.
It takes shape through School Day, created for students, and ENTRELÍNEAS, a space for educators, librarians, and other professionals working with children and books to come together, reflect, and learn.
